1. Sign in
Go to tournament.com and tap Sign in. Use your email or your Google account. Privy handles the sign-in and your account is created the first time you use it. You must be 18 or over and hold one account.
2. Pick a username
You get one on first sign-in. Change it in Settings: 3 to 20 characters, letters, digits and underscore. Other players see it on the kill feed, on the boards and on your profile.
3. Verify a phone number
One verified mobile number per account, before your first match. You get a code by text, valid for ten minutes. Include your country code, starting with +. Landlines and internet phone numbers are not accepted.
4. Collect your 100 points
Every new account starts with 100 points. If a friend gave you a code, add it in Settings within 30 days for another 100.
5. Pick a server
Open Servers. Your browser pings every location and the list re-sorts as the numbers land. Lower ping is a fairer fight. Rooms over 170 ms are closed to you. Practice rooms are open at any distance.
If this is your first time in DOOM 2 in a while, start with Your practice server: six bots, free, nothing scored, nothing at risk.
6. Click to play
The hint bar tells you everything you need at first:
CLICK TO PLAY | WASD MOVE | MOUSE TURN | SHIFT RUN | SPACE USE | F FULLSCREEN
Left mouse fires. Number keys 1 to 7 pick weapons. Escape frees the mouse and opens the leaderboard and settings panel. Full list in Controls and settings.
7. Know what a kill costs
In PPK rooms a kill moves points from the victim to the killer, and you need 10 points to enter. Frag race rooms charge an entry per map and pay the top three from the pot. Practice is free. Read Points rules as of 12 September 2026 before you queue for points.
